Modbus Automation Server

This is an ActiveX out-process (.exe) server that act as Modbus Master using RTU, ASCII and Open Modbus protocols . It's intended to be used with any tool that support automation like Visual Basic , Microsoft Office app's (Excel, Word97, Access), etc.

Only a subset of modbus functions were implemented , but you can send any type of data to a slave and interpret slave response.

This sever also works as interface between network client applications that use Open Modbus Protocol and serial slave devices, see the figure below.
